Alarm Call Handler – PM Shifts (Full-Time & Part-Time) Location: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle (NE12 8BU) Hours & Shift Patterns: Full-Time PM: 11:45am – 8:00pm or 1:30pm – 10:00pm | 37.5 hours per week | 5 on, 2 off (Monday – Sunday) Part-Time PM: 3:30pm – 8:30pm | 24 hours per week | 5 on, 2 off (Monday – Sunday) Salary: £25,500 starting, rising to £26,500 with progression (Pro rata for part-time) Bonus: Up to £1,200 performance & attendance bonus Why join Verisure? What you’ll do Respond quickly and accurately to alarm activations Monitor signals, assess incidents, and review images Contact emergency services (police, ambulance, fire brigade) when required Handle inbound calls with calm, confident customer service Make outbound calls to keep customers informed Advise on system use to prevent false alarms and escalate issues where needed What we’re looking for No prior security experience required – full training provided Experience delivering excellent customer service Calm and confident under pressure Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Good IT skills and accurate data entry Team-focused with a willingness to support colleagues We welcome applicants from retail, hospitality, call centres, emergency services, NHS 111, or control room backgrounds.
