We have an exciting opportunity for an Assurance Engineer to join the Water Distribution at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The Compliance Coordinator will provide accurate data reporting that directly impacts our annual customer minutes lost performance. This is a key performance measure, where accurate and reliable data is essential to the business, both financially and reputationally.
Where you fit in:
As our Compliance Coordinator you will:
• Ensure compliance with YW H&S Policy & Procedures, challenge compromises, and highlight health and safety hazards when required.
• Input assured data into SAP to allow us to report on our weekly/yearly targets.
• Provide critical analysis of processes to highlight any data issues.
• Chase up missing feedback from multiple departments and input the findings into SAP.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to internal and external assurance frameworks.
• Run various weekly reports to make sure all our data is up to date and accurate.
• Check the service events and highlight events that require a review.
• Identify customers that are entitled to GSS payments.
• Assist the team leader in preparation for the yearly audit to ensure that all the correct data is inputted and up to date.
• Think outside the box to improve processes going forward, by highlighting better ways of working where appropriate.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
• Full understanding of regulatory and service targets for Water Networks, with a dynamic grasp of analysis, performance, and risk.
• Able to provide a fine attention to detail to ensure that compliant and accurate data is recorded.
• An ability to spot and rectify errors within data.
• Proven track record in data analysis and manipulation, essential for interpreting and compiling data.
You will also benefit from having:
• Experience in using SAP
• Competent user of Excel and Power Point
• Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment
• Experienced in Yorkshire Water’s corporate systems, including SAP, Odyssey, YorBill and ICE
• Able to understand where your role fits within a Business Plan and develop ways to deliver the outputs required
• Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
