Role- Project Manager
Salary- £35,000- £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Essex
My client design and manufacture electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Project Manager to develop as part of their team.
The Project Engineer / Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
* Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City Guilds / Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* Previous project engineering experience or the desire to adapt in their type of role
* PRINCE 2 qualification would be desirable but not essential
* Excellent customer service skills
* Electro-mechanical engineering background ideally
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Have a flexible approach to work
The Project Engineer / Manager role will involve:
* Working within the existing engineering team
* Being involved in problem solving
* Working on a range of projects
* Carrying out Risk Assessments
* Ensuring the plans and timescales for projects are met
* Adhering to quality standards
* Evaluating the success of projects against benchmarks
* Liaising with other colleagues and offering technical assistance when needed
