Job Description:
* Define and translate business problems/requirements into analytics requirements/solutions in-line with Product Manager relationship with business and taking on board their thinking.
* Develop, implement and enhance analytic insights and products using a wide range of analytics tools and some data engineering.
* Conceptualise, develop and manage the delivery and optimisation of analytics solutions and ensure solution which meets business needs.
* Monitor statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality and analytical product or solution development.
* Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and communicates conclusions to the business.
* Act as lead for development segment of larger or complex projects.
* During projects, takes primary accountability for day-to-day line management and capability development of developers on project team and ensures accuracy and robustness of analytics products.
* Undertake people management accountabilities for direct reports outside of their project, e.g. undertake annual performance review, gathering insight from relevant project teams, co-ordinate performance improvement plan where appropriate, etc.
* Where graduates are included in DRs or project team, provide mentorship and ensure the structure of their workload reflects the graduate scheme requirements.
* Resolve raw data questions using a storytelling approach to provide business clients with detailed, actionable solutions.
* Continually develop and maintain the standards for analytics development.
* Codify product information as input into knowledge management.
* Where industrialisation for products needed, feed in requirements to Service Delivery.
* Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
Skills Required:
* Proven extensive experience with Visualization Skills (Tableau, Power BI or other tools).
* Proven experience of SQL skills.
* Relevant experience of data analysis and development of data products.
Experience Required:
* Relevant experience of data analysis and development of data products.
* Relevant experience in SQL, preferably in cloud environments.
* Relevant experience in visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
* Previous experience of projects within agile, scrum framework.
* Relevant experience in one or several business areas (Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Services).
* Excellent level of ability to structure, analyse or interpret data.
* Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience Preferred:
* Experience in Python.
* Extensive knowledge of a range of research techniques and methodologies.
* Experience of international projects in multiple markets.
