The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting the smooth running of production operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out repairs
* Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks
* Fault find on mechanical systems and production equipment
* Repair and refurbish components when required
* Support improvement projects and equipment upgrades
* Maintain accurate maintenance records
* Assist with production changeovers and machine set-up
* Ensure health & safety standards are followed at all times
Requirements
* Mechanical engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
* Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Experience xsngvjr working with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics or pneumatics
* Welding or fabrication skills beneficial
* Basic electrical knowledge advantageous
