The Procurement and Contract Assistant supports the effective sourcing, purchasing, and contractual management of goods and services required for calibration operations. The role ensures that equipment, calibration standards, subcontracted services, and consumables are procured in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner, while maintaining accurate contract records and supporting supplier relationships in accordance with quality, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. About the Role•Raise and process purchase orders in line with approved budgets and procurement procedures •Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring technical specifications and calibration requirements are met •Support the preparation, review, and administration of supplier service contracts, including calibration service agreements, maintenance contracts and business overheads •Track orders, deliveries, and lead times to support operational planning and minimize downtime. •Build relationships with new and existing suppliers including face to face meetings •Setting up supplier SLAs (Service Level Agreement), developing and maintaining Supplier Score cards •Developing tiers of approved suppliers •Maintaining supplier database to reduce new and unapproved suppliers •Maintaining the supplier NCR (None Conformance) procedure for complaints •Working closely with the customer to unde...
