Role Overview
The role is a full‑time Band 6 Early Intervention, Prevention and Promotion Service (EIPPS) Practitioner based at Penrallt Caernarfon, with an expectation to provide services across the BCUHB West region. The position is part of the CAMHS Early Intervention, Prevention, and Promotion team in Gwynedd and North Wales.
Responsibilities
* Support community‑based frontline professionals who work with children, young people and families facing concerns related to mental health and well‑being.
* Provide evidence‑based specialist consultations, training sessions, events, group work and early advice to schools and the wider community.
* Build the skills and capacity of professionals and other stakeholders to respond to emerging emotional and mental health needs of children and young people.
* Collaborate with learners, teachers, parents/carers, additional learning staff and professionals from multi‑agency partners.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification that meets the eligibility criteria defined by the Mental Health Measure 2010 (e.g. RMN, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, etc.).
* Essential ability to speak Welsh.
