PAYE £419.60 or Umbrella £584.11 What you'll be doing You will be working within in the Turbine Halls Multi Disciplinary Area Team and with our Tier 1 supply chain partners to anticipate issues, resolve problems and create delivery strategies to ensure there is a viable, integrated and constructable level 4 schedule that de-risks on-site construction and installation activities. Anticipating, managing and resolving issues within the Area. Identify risks and facilitate the resolution of all issues raised, develop mitigation plans and escalate any issues to the Senior Project Manager Ensuring level 4 schedules are developed and maintained for the Area taking account of pre-requisites, links and interdependencies across contracts. Ensuring such schedules are consistent with overall Project schedule and milestones. Maintaining effective communications with all stakeholders. Contributing to Area decision making to ensure 'Best For Project' decisions are made. Working across the End to End delivery of the HPC Turbine Hall's, operating principally in the medium term (16 week) window to ensure all requisite plans are in place to enable the construction/ instillation works on site to progress unconstrained. Participating in, and leading detailed discussions regarding construction/installation sequencing at interfaces with one or more contractors or one or more Areas. Working with a matrix team of other departments and disciplines forming the MDAT (Multi Disciplinary Area Team) and closely with the supply chain partners Supporting decision making / strategy / resolution of 'Hotspots'. Hotspots occur where there are significant schedule busts which need to be resolved. Liaising with other Areas of the wider project. Apply the principles of Continuous Improvement, ensuring that lessons-learnt and knowledge-capture are practiced as business as usual and particularly with respect to opportunities for Unit 2 Turbine Hall. Who you are Degree qualified in engineering / construction / technical discipline or equivalent experience. Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to develop relationships and maintain effective networks. Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other SMEs throughout large and complex construction projects, in a regulated environment. Experience of successfully engaging large groups of stakeholders and collaborating successfully to achieve desired outcomes. Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation. Proficient in the use of estimating scheduling, programming and risk tools. Experience in large, technically complex projects is advantageous, however most important to the recruiting team is securing the candidate with the right personal attributes.
