The role:As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils.
2. Teach across primary age range, with flexibility to support pupils up to age 13.
3. Differentiate learning to ensure accessibility for all students, using a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
4. Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
5. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide a holistic approach to learning.
6. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting plans to meet evolving needs.
7. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.
Candidate Requirements:We are looking for someone who is:
8. A qualified teacher with QTS
9. Experienced in teaching children with SEN, ideally within a primary or middle school setting.
10. Confident in managing behaviour positively and creating a calm, structured learning environment.
11. Skilled at differentiating lessons and using creative approaches to engage pupils.
12. Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion fo supporting children with additional needs.
