We are seeking a forward-thinking clinical pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team based at Borders General Hospital, providing services throughout NHS Borders.
You will receive training and experience in various clinical services, dispensary, and aseptic services tailored to your personal development needs.
Our friendly and experienced teams will support you in providing pharmaceutical care to diverse patient groups, including Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly, Cardiology, Stroke, Cancer care, Palliative care, Mental Health, and Intensive care. You will be encouraged to undertake continuous professional development through the Post Registration Foundation Training, including independent prescribing or further postgraduate study, depending on your experience and needs. Additionally, you will support NHS foundation pharmacists, both BGH-based and community-based, during their hospital sector placements.
This position involves participation in the on-call rota and weekend working rota.
