We are looking for a talented Construction Manager to join our team at our office located in Birmingham, UK.
The Construction Manager will lead construction site activities in the cleanroom environment, manage all field operations, and take primary responsibility for site safety.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Assumes primary responsibility for all activities on assigned construction sites.
* Leads field personnel to meet project goals. Ensures achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects.
* Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.
* Ensures projects meet applicable quality requirements.
* Manages client interactions at the site and promotes positive relationships.
* Develops working knowledge of contract requirements and applies this to project activities.
* Supports the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Oversees subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
* Participates in design constructability reviews.
* Supports procurement, bid evaluation, and subcontractor/vendor selection.
* Evaluates and manages invoices, change requests, and communication among project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Previous cleanroom experience is essential.
* Extensive experience in Construction Management, specifically in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, or Life Science sectors.
