Flexible Cover Supervisor Opportunities – Secondary Schools
Job Type: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time (minimum 2 days per week)
Pay: £95–£120 per day (rate may vary depending on travel)

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will support students in Years 7 to 11, delivering pre-prepared lesson content and maintaining a productive and positive learning environment. While you may cover lessons across a range of subjects, schools will often tailor timetables to suit your strengths—such as assigning Maths cover to a Maths graduate.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher
Deliver lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning
Promote positive behaviour and manage classroom expectations
Support students with their learning where appropriate
Report back to teaching staff on student engagement and any incidents
Who We’re Looking For:
Confident working with students aged 11–16
Comfortable supporting creative subjects like Art, Design, or Food Technology
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Able to adapt to different school environments and teaching styles
Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, tutoring, or coaching)
