We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils and teaching staff within a welcoming and inclusive school environment based in Blyth, Northumberland. Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils individually and in small groups to enhance learning and engagement.
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
* Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs where required.
* Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and personal development.
* Assist with classroom preparation and organisation of learning resources.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and supportive approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
