Occupational Therapist – Trauma & Orthopaedics
East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust – Permanent, Part‑time (18.75 hours/week).
We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with a passion for working in Trauma and Orthopaedics. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across the Trauma and Orthopaedic wards.
Responsibilities
* Assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of holistic therapy interventions for patients on the Trauma and Orthopaedic wards.
* Work independently and delegate appropriately to Band 4 assistant practitioners.
* Contribute to the development of the service and support staff through the appraisal process.
* Collaborate closely with physiotherapists and other team members.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 6 Occupational Therapist grade.
* Experience in a Trauma and Orthopaedic setting.
* Strong clinical and leadership skills.
