Salary 17,161.50 Summary Join our Customer Communications team in Sunderland Our friendly in-house team helps to coordinate responses to customer queries received via Twitter, email and telephone. The team primarily makes bookings for our Tees Flex service, the Uber-style bus in the Tees Valley. This part time position (30 hrs per week) is available until August 2024, and is ideal if you have an administration and/or customer service background. The team also manages several highly important ticketing initiatives, processing bulk orders for Stagecoach North East's 'Under 19' and 'Corporate Travel' schemes, among others. The role involves a mixture of working from home and office based tasks at our Sunderland Head Office. Job Purpose Providing a high level of customer service for customers making on-demand bus trips across the Tees Valley, responsibility for ticket administration and processing, invoicing and general customer communications support. Full training will be provided but relevant skills and/or experience are preferred. Hours of work We are seeking a Part Time applicant working 30 hours each week on the rolling rota outlined below, as part of a job-share. Overtime will also be required to cover holidays within the team. Salary £17,161.00 (prorated) Shift details Flexibility is required. The successful candidate will join a small team, working in shifts on a rolling rota system to cover all customer service operating hours. The majority of the working hours fall between 0700-2000 Mon-Fri, with a requirement for one Saturday per three-week period. Job Activities Providing the central customer service function for Tees Flex, our on-demand bus services in the Tees Valley. Assisting Tees Flex customers by booking their on-demand bus trips across Tees Valley Responding to Stagecoach customer enquiries and complaints via email and telephone Liaising with the company's six local operations teams to seek relevant information Developing a broad understanding of customer products and local services Scheduling promotional content for social media, helping to write new messaging Processing ticket sales (inc. Corporate Travel, Under 19 & Unirider): Bulk ticket orders & refunds Completing relevant paperwork Keeping records in line with procedures Any other reasonable duties delegated by the Marketing Manager or Commercial team Person Profile Customer-focused attitude Strong organisational skills Confident and friendly Excellent overall communication skills Confident user of social media platforms (in particular Twitter) Good standard of written English Experienced with Microsoft Office software Comfortable with rota system including early, middle and late shifts as well as working one Saturday every three weeks, as per the rota detailed above.
