As a Utility Surveyor, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will involve identifying, evaluating, and quantifying work required to maintain contract specification safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.
This role is part of our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division, renowned for safe and efficient service delivery across the Midlands and South East, from our Ledbury and Hermitage offices. We work on strategic, long-term contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand relevant industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
* Conduct site-specific risk assessments with robust emergency procedures.
* Compile work packs aligned with contract specifications for operational arborists.
* Engage with private landowners and stakeholders to obtain consent for works.
* Identify and understand safety zones and their inherent dangers.
* Ensure safety for yourself and others on site.
* Coach and mentor junior team members.
