Job Overview
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical machinery.
You will ensure that all equipment is operating to specification, following company procedures and safety protocols. Your experience working with Siemens PLC and HMI systems will be valuable in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical machinery
* Ensure all equipment is operating to specification, following company procedures and safety protocols.
* Work with Siemens PLC/HMI systems for system diagnostics, programming, and updates.
* Carry out fault diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical and control systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Adhere to airside safety and security protocols and complete all necessary paperwork.
* Respond to urgent repair needs, ensuring timely resolution to maintain operational efficiency.
* Support the continuous improvement of systems and equipment.
* Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working with PLC and HMI controls, Siemens systems preferred
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
* Airside vetting to CTC level (Counter Terrorist Check) is required
* Must be able to work the shift pattern as per the operational requirements
