The Opportunity:
Europe's #1 Integrated Defence Company seeks a talented Model-Based Systems Capability Engineer to promote MBSE concepts across active and future weapons programs, utilising cutting-edge modelling tools.
In addition to championing a holistic lifecycle approach to system design, your responsibilities will include providing specialised training and consulting support to key programs, supporting continuous process improvement and instigating behavioural change across the wider business.

Required Skills & Experience:
* Systems Engineer skilled in modern model-based methods and tools
* Systems architecture modelling using tools like Rhapsody IBM and Matlab Simulink.
* Autonomous work ethic, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge in specialist areas such as mechanical, electrical, software, ILS, HF, control, and analysis, representing them within an architecture.
* Holds a relevant Engineering degree and post-graduation experience.
* Expresses an interest and readiness to expand expertise into Digital Engineering concepts like Model-Based Engineering, Digital Threads, Digital Twins, and the Authoritative Source of Truth.
Benefits Package:
* Base salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DoE)
* Annual Bonus: Circa £2,500 per annum - Pro-Rata
* Annual Salary Review: Increase varies year to year and is based on individual performance – up to 6.5% uplift in 2023
* Dynamic Pay (Overtime): Flat rate (1.00) Mon- Fri and at 1.25 on weekends. Optionally accrued after contracted 38 hours working week
* Dynamic Leave (Flexi Leave): Non-contractual benefit of up to 15 days a year of additional leave. This is where individuals have worked beyond their regular contractual hours to respond to business needs.
* Pension: Pension 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
* Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Share Incentive Plan: Opportunity to purchase shares via payroll before tax and NI.
* Company Sick Pay: This ranges from 6 weeks for the first six months of service and scales up to 48 weeks after five years of service.
