Description
* Prepare and manage accurate financial statements and reports.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
* Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit requirements.
* Analyse financial data to support business decision-making.
* Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
* Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
* Experience working within the Transport & Distribution industry or similar sectors.
* Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive approach and attention to detail.
Job Offer
* A competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 per annum.
