Robert Half are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a fantastic business in Glasgow, to support them in their search for a Head of Financial Compliance to join the business on a permanent basis.
As Head of Financial Compliance, you will be responsible for the Financial & Regulatory Compliance for the business. You will be supporting the Group CFO and Global Finance Functions to ensure compliance for financial reporting, Tax and Legal Structure.
You will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of robust financial compliance frameworks as well as ensuring legal adherence of the organisation's financial operations across all departments and geographical locations.
Responsibilities and Accountability
The business has broken down the responsibilities under 4 main headings; Governance, Technical, Innovative, and Treasury & Cash Management.
Governance
1. Ensuring the business has an optimal organisational legal structure.
2. Participate in the execution of Share Purchase Agreements and financial due diligence as required.
3. Company Secretary duties for the Group companies, Companies House filing responsibility for all UK Group entities
4. Involvement in annual SOC audits - ensuring the finance team provide appropriate evidence on time and that internal controls are well documented and understood.
