The role
As Maintenance Manager, you will take responsibility for all site maintenance activity, leading a skilled engineering team and reducing downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and overseeing maintenance to maximise equipment uptime
* Leading and developing electrical and mechanical engineers
* Managing maintenance schedules, records and spare parts
* Delivering engineering projects on time and within budget
* Working closely with SHE teams to promote safe working
* Setting priorities and monitoring work quality
The person
To be successful as Maintenance Manager, you will need:
* A recognised electrical or mechanical qualification at Level 3
* Strong electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment
* Previous experience leading maintenance engineers
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
* A full driving licence
