A day in the life of a Murphy Section Engineer:
* Checking Inspection Test Plans
* Checking setting out protocols of sub-contracted site engineers, review and agree a method to carry out consistently.
* Checking Installation on site is correct according to specifications.
* Assisting the Design Team with identifying setting out requirements on projects.
* Review the Design Information prior to works commencing.
* Checking that correct Quality Control is adhered to.
* Resolving technical problems at all levels.
* Ensuring activities are carried out in safe manner in accordance with the Project Safety Plan.
* Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers' defined requirements.
* Ensure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the Contract requirements using the appropriate agreed procedures.
* Ensure all site personnel have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their duties.
* Minimises environmental disturbance during construction works.
* Supervises the outputs and confirms that the project environmental requirements are met.
* Close liaison with the Project Team.
* Ensure that only the latest issue drawings and documents are being used.
* Assist the Site Management team to update KPI's, material reconciliation and progress reports Engineering Duties

Qualifications
* Engineering qualification from a reputable firm
* IT Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel and Word proficiency
* Able to articulate engineering concepts verbally to stakeholders and in written communication
* Previous experience as an engineer on a civil engineering project
* Driver's license
* Safety training IOSSH and/or SSSTS or SMSTS
* The post-holder will be expected to behave at all times in a manner consistent with the Murphy values of Safety, Leadership, Integrity and Respect.
* Relevant tickets for site-based work
