1. Position: Service Advisor
2. Location: Northampton
3. Basic Salary: £28,500
4. OTE: £34,000+
5. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
6. 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am - 1:00pm
Our client is a respected main dealer within the Northampton area, they are currently looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their growing team. This role is vital in ensuring an exceptional experience for customers by managing their automotive needs.
As a member of the service team, you’ll not only support the growth and success of your branch ensuring value is added with every customer interaction; but you’ll also be the face of aftersales customer experience, always promoting the highest standards within the retail motor industry.
Key Responsibilities as a Service Advisor:
7. Serve as the initial point of contact for customers, both in-person and via the phone.
8. Maximise service profitability through the use of professional sales techniques.
9. Approach all customers and assist with requests, including requests regarding parts, vehicle sales and repairs.
10. Liaise with technicians about vehicle statuses and ensure vehicles will be ready on time
11. Oversee the entire customer journey from initiation to completion.
12. Execute administrative tasks, following correct procedure.
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
13. Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry, preferably within a main dealership setting.
14. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
15. Familiarity with automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
17. Ability to effectively interact with customers in-person, over the phone, and via email.
