About The Role

Critical purpose of role:
* Deliver timely and accurate operational financial data to the business.
* Interrogate large data sets to gain insights into business processes and performance.
* Protect business assets through financial integrity.
Main responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate weekly and periodic manufacturing and logistics P&Ls for multiple sites in the UK & US.
* Reconcile COGs and gross margin, investigating variances and discrepancies.
* Manage weekly operational variance reporting, including direct and indirect labour analysis and fixed costs.
* Review weekly PI counts and stock reporting to support purchasing and forecasting.
* Partner with Senior Manufacturing and Logistics managers to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
* Lead and develop operational reporting packs with commentary to identify and drive efficiencies.
* Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and systems.
* Track in-year savings from improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with the Finance Systems team to ensure master data accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and best practices.
* Support process improvement initiatives.

About You
* Ideally CIMA qualified or equivalent.
* Relevant financial experience in a manufacturing or operational role.
* Experience with recognised ERP systems, preferably IFS.
* Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
* Ability to lead and work within a team.
* Strong communication skills.
* Effective interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues and suppliers.
* Commitment to doing the job right and challenging the status quo.
