Job Description
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Strategic Planning Manager to join our Strategic Land Team within Vistry Services. You will promote and secure planning permission for strategic land assets within the Vistry Group portfolio and manage sites where Vistry is the master developer. The role involves identifying and assessing new land opportunities for future development.

Candidate Requirements
* Align with company values: Integrity, Caring, and Quality
* Degree or master's in planning or related field
* RTPI qualified or working towards APC
* Experience with housing developers or consultancies (preferred)
* Strong communication and project management skills
* Experience working with landowners, agents, local authorities
* Experience with strategic land is advantageous but not essential
* Willing to work extra hours as needed
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and review planning strategies for land assets
* Report policy changes and update promotion strategies
* Promote sites in line with obligations and build relationships with landowners
* Discuss proposals with authorities and stakeholders
* Manage external consultants and monitor budgets
* Coordinate submissions and responses during planning processes
* Lead public consultation events and respond to feedback
* Manage planning applications and appeals
* Ensure accurate reporting and documentation
* Engage with industry groups and share updates
* Identify and acquire new land opportunities
* Conduct site visits
* Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
