Job Title: Responsible Individual – Children’s Residential Care Location: Essex- Ilford and Romford Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) Bonus: Profit share Contract: Full Time (40hrs) Our client is seeking a Responsible Individual/Operations manager to manage 2 OFSTED Registered Learning Disability home based in Essex. 6 BED and 4 BED. Role: * Comply with Safeguarding Children policy and procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture * Comply with the Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times * Ensure that all homes meet the mandated training and Health and Safety compliance targets * Ensure full compliance in respect of all relevant legislation and regulation * Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures at all times * Promote and ensure the good reputation of the organisation at all times * Always act in a professional manner, operating with integrity, respecting individuals and maintaining confidentiality * Promote strong personalisation/individual care & support, striving to achieve the highest standards of personalise support * Register with Ofsted as Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes, ensuring full regulatory / legislative compliance * Provide effective leadership; responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all designated children’s homes * Working in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team on new business/development projects * Responsible for Delivering agreed levels of “EBITDA”, return on investment and cash-management targets in line with the annual budget, by effectively and efficiently managing resources, and aiming to improve the quality of earnings – optimising profitability and managing costs effectively Requirements * Formal sector related qualification, ideally at level 5/7 (desirable) or willingness to work towards * Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation relating to residential children’s homes (Essential) * Experience in working in relevant health and social care setting (essential) Rewards · Fully funded training qualifications · My Staff shop.
