Offer description

Do you want to play a key role in shaping how digital commercial frameworks are assured, accredited and developed for the NHS? If you enjoy working in a collaborative team, influencing national stakeholders and ensuring high standards across Digital and IT services, this could be the perfect next step for you. You will also have broader responsibilities working within a newly formed Operations Management team within the Digital & IT category umbrella and support the development of tender packs and specifications to ensure they are designed using user‑centred design principles and test suppliers against relevant industry standards and CO frameworks. We can offer great career progression opportunities, the ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs, and training and development opportunities. As part of our Digital and IT category team, you will work in a supportive environment where continuous improvement, user‑centred design and high‑quality delivery sit at the heart of what we do. This role is hybrid, with monthly onsite visits to our Salford office for team collaboration, workshops or meetings.

What you'll be doing:

* Leading the end‑to‑end accreditation process for new digital commercial frameworks to ensure compliance with GDS controls, Cabinet Office standards, NHSE assurance requirements and other emerging policies.
* Coordinating submissions, evidence packs and approvals with central government and NHS assurance teams.
* Acting as the subject matter expert for digital assurance across NHS SBS commercial frameworks and advising internal colleagues.
* Embedding accreditation and assurance requirements into framework design, documentation, supplier onboarding and governance processes.
* Conducting retrospective audits and maintaining oversight to ensure frameworks remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
* Supporting tender development, using user‑centred design principles, and contributing to policy development and continuous improvement activities.

What you’ll bring:

* Knowledge of digital assurance frameworks, including GDS standards, Cabinet Office controls or similar.
* Experience coordinating or delivering accreditation or compliance processes within a digital, IT or public sector environment.
* Understanding of framework governance, audit activity and quality assurance.
* Ability to interpret and apply standards, policies and technical requirements.
* Experience preparing evidence packs or documentation for review by external assurance bodies.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assurance activities at pace.

It would be great if you had:

* Knowledge of the Technology Code of Practice or other digital policy frameworks.
* Experience working with NHS England, central government or similarly regulated bodies.
* Awareness of emerging digital policy trends or standards.

If you’re interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we’re looking for, please do apply, we’d love to hear from you!

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Location: Nationwide – with monthly onsite visits to the Salford Office.

Salary: Up to £40,000.

Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the choice to buy additional days, health cash plan, paid volunteering days and carers leave, 4 × death in service life assurance and pension.
