Job Description:
An exciting opportunity in Westerham, Kent for a Support Worker/Teaching Assistant. We are looking for dedicated individuals capable of delivering person-centered care tailored to individual care plans for our clients. Responsibilities:
1. Knowledge of child protection & safeguarding
2. Promoting an environment that encourages individuality and confidence
3. Monitoring and maintaining patients' healthcare needs and wellbeing
4. Managing challenging behaviors, including working with children who have experienced trauma affecting their emotional and mental wellbeing
Desirable Experience:
1. Safeguarding of children
2. NVQ certification (preferably Level 3 or 4)
3. Ofqual certification
4. Basic Life Support (Level 3 for children)
5. Understanding and knowledge of therapeutic approaches to childcare

Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 6 months of UK-based experience working with children, with references
2. Minimum of Grade C in GCSE English & Maths
3. Availability to work more than 2 days a week, Monday to Friday day shifts only
4. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (covering children & adults)
5. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
6. Driver's Licence (preferred)
7. No sponsorship offered
