Conduct investigations on various technical projects, such as Quality Notifications and Incidents/CAPAs.

Carry out small projects within agreed schedules.
•
Collaborate with colleagues from different departments to find effective solutions to technical issues.
•
Plan and manage your own work within project boundaries, with guidance from Senior Scientists and Supervisor.
•
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
•
Communicate findings from technical investigations, interpret unexpected results, and propose further actions to resolve issues.
•
Prepare detailed technical reports to support the resolution of Incidents/Change Control.
•
Role involves a practical focus.

Perform both laboratory work and basic project management duties.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
The jobholder should hold a degree or equivalent in a microbiological (or related) subject, though this is not essential, with 0-2 years’ experience working in a microbiology laboratory. Experience as an end user of Oxoid products, would be of benefit, but is not essential. The jobholder will be expected to handle class 2 (and 3, depending on vaccination status) microorganisms and hazardous chemicals in a safe manner, according to the department and company safety rules.
