We are currently partnering with a well-known Charity based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full-time position with a competitive rate of pay of up to £20.00 per hour for the right candidate. A DBS and a car with business insurance is essential for this role. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Working with 16-25 year olds, with helping them with their independent and sustain their temporary accommodation Tenants have a variety of needs including those risk of homelessness and low level substance misuse Working with clients to find suitable move on accommodation Creating a support plan and updating this when required Offering welfare and benefit advice, so clients can obtain some income Liaising with GPs, Schools and job centres to help with independent living Ensure that clients have suitable accommodation to stay in and check on welfare of clients Experience required: Experience within supported housing Experience working with multi-agencies Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
