The team at our Craft Bakery in Starbeck, Harrogate are already busy planning for Christmas 2025, and we have multiple opportunities available for you to join us on a temporary basis as a Seasonal Bakery Assistant from September through to December. The available roles are all based at our Craft Bakery where we make, bake, pack and distribute our much-loved Bettys products. The successful candidates will work as part of a team and help out during our busiest time of the year. We have opportunities within a number of departments, including Pastry, Confectionery, Cake Decorating, Fulfilment, Despatch and Hygiene. Here are some examples of the tasks you might be required to get involved with: Working in one of our bakery production teams making, baking and finishing some of our famous products, such as the iconic Fat Rascal. Carefully packing our freshly made and handcrafted products and applying the relevant information labels, in line with specification. Prepping our finished products so and they can be safely despatched to our five café team rooms, ready to delight our customers. Contribute to the maintenance of excellent hygiene standards across our site. We are looking for 14 Bakery Assistants and 3 Hygiene assistants. We have a variety of shifts to cover, so please provide details of your availability in your application. About you We are looking for candidates who would like to be part of the 2025 Bettys Christmas magic and are available from September to December 2025. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team in a busy environment. No prior experience is required as we’ll provide you with all the training that you need.
