Job Title: Technical Support / Workshop Technician
Location: Lutterworth
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
Contract: Temporary until the end of the year, with the potential to become permanent
The Role:
My client is seeking a hands-on Technical Support / Workshop Technician to join their busy team on a temporary basis. This role is based in a fully equipped workshop with a small, friendly team and focuses on servicing and repairing renewable lighting and power equipment.
The successful candidate will be mechanically minded, have a basic understanding of electrics, and enjoy practical, problem-solving work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the renewable energy sector with the chance of a longer-term position for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repairing and servicing renewable lighting and power equipment
* Conducting routine maintenance checks and identifying faults
* Using hand tools and electrical testing equipment
* Working closely with the existing workshop team to meet deadlines
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Skills & Experience Required:
* Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge essential
* Experience in a workshop or technical environment preferred
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive and reliable attitude
