Process Technician
Tiverton HSSU Hub | Sterile Services | Permanent contract | Full time £24,358.47 - 37.5 hours per week - £12.49 per hour
Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, alternating shifts every week. Weekends will be offered as overtime or TOIL depending on workloads. Between 7pm and 7am hours are paid at 30% enhancement rate, and weekends at 20%. Bank Holidays paid as double time if required with time back in lieu.

Responsibilities
* Process Medical instruments for surgical operations
* Learn the importance of sterile instruments from start to finish
* Help to ensure all instruments are in good working order and learn all their names and uses
* Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
* Take action to resolve any problems
* Escalate issues where necessary
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures
* Work with a highly skilled team
Qualifications
* Basic education with proven literacy and numeracy skills
* Organised with good communication skills
* Evidence of sterile services training (preferred)
* Basic computer skills are vital to the role
