Role Overview
Responsible for overseeing the Operational M&E delivery of an Account across a large number of sites within a regionalised portfolio. Working with in-house teams and Supply Chain partners, the Head of Operations will deliver a high standard of service in compliance with governance and maintenance standards, while engineering Operational Excellence through innovative and technically assured solutions.
What you\'ll do
* Be the Client\'s operational point of contact while leading the Account\'s Operational deliverables, ensuring compliance with Client and EMCOR UK governance, contractual KPIs, and required maintenance standards.
* Lead and direct operational efficiencies that enhance effectiveness.
* Promote and implement innovative ideas to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
* Identify opportunities and support Account promotion and growth, externally and internally.
* Facilitate a positive, collaborative, informed, and solutions-based relationship with the Client and Stakeholders.
* Foster a high-standard, high-performing working environment that is engaged with EMCOR UK, the Account, and the Client.
* Ensure adherence to EMCOR UK Safe Systems of Work and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of Operational Compliance and keep them audit-ready.
* Lead investigations, complete RCA, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
* Support the EMCOR UK KAM Plan through delivery of the Strategic Action Plan and Added Value concepts.
* Manage the Account Risk Register with up-to-date records and clear communication to the Client, taking progressive action to mitigate risks.
* Take decisive action to resolve any issues within the Operational teams.
* Manage the Account Innovation & Value Add Tracker with accurate records and progressive actions to develop and actualise items.
* Office-based role at our Eastleigh office; travel to Client sites as required within a 90-minute commute. Occasional home-working is possible where appropriate.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
* Must be able to pass a DBS check every 2 years.
* Provide leadership and support to a 24/7 operation, alongside the rest of the team.
* Access to confidential information during duties and responsibility to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience
* Technical qualifications in an Electrical/Mechanical bias, equivalent to a Level 3 minimum, with a background in Maintenance Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years\' experience managing delivery of M&E Operations at a senior level.
* Knowledge and experience of P&L management and process.
* Strong understanding and implementation of Health and Safety strategies.
* Commercial understanding of procurement frameworks and contractual agreements.
* Experience with CMMS/CAFM systems.
* IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
* Key account management experience/education would be beneficial.
* Experience of managing M&E delivery within a corporate or Local Authority environment.
