We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Raw Materials & Packaging Controller to join our business on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.
Based at our site in Crewe, your role will be to ensure that all raw materials and packaging requirements follow the scheduled planned production and are ordered in a timely manner utilising the full portfolio of approved suppliers.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 and Fridays 08:00-15:00 – who doesn’t love an early finish on a Friday!
Your Duties Will Include:
* Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by strict enforcement of TCFG health and safety policy
* Assist in raising day to day purchase orders that are called for from the MCO (Material call off) sheets
* Administration and daily checks on all materials with longer lead times to ensure forward orders are placed within this lead time
* Chasing outstanding orders from suppliers
* Assistance in dealing with the day-to-day issues on raw materials and packaging
* Assistance in highlighting any issues that influence customer orders, that are in place/planned
* Help resolve any purchase ledger queries that are bought to your attention
* Process orders for goods inward shipping, providing accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation
* Assist in shelf-life management, highlighting issues by working with operations & supply chain to reduce any potential stock write off
* Actively involved in maintaining batch and stock location accuracy on company software
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of TROPOS and associated systems
* Ability to analyse and present operational KPI’s
* Sound numerical and negotiation skills to enable sound communication with suppliers, transportation, and distribution businesses.
* High level of IT skills (e.g., word/excel/PowerPoint/outlook)
* Energy drive and determination to succeed.
* Ability to build strong working relationships external & internal colleagues.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Organisational skills
* Self-motivated with ability to motivate others
