Experienced Site Engineer – Worcester | £280–£320 per day | 12-Month Project
BCS Connect are recruiting for an Experienced Site Engineer to support our client on a specialist environmental engineering project in Worcester, starting 18th August 2025.
This role will focus on the refurbishment and remodelling of reed beds as part of a critical wastewater treatment upgrade. The successful candidate will take a lead in site setting out, quality assurance, and technical coordination to ensure works are delivered to specification, on programme, and in compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out and surveying using Leica TS16 total station (equipment provided)
* Managing dimensional control, line/level, and site records
* Producing and updating AutoCAD drawings (own laptop required)
* Coordinating with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries
* Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with environmental and engineering specifications
* Recording as-built data for handover documentation
* Supporting the implementation of site health & safety plans

Scope: Refurbishment & remodelling of reed beds, including earthworks, lining systems, inlet/outlet structures, drainage connections, and reinstatement works
Rate: £280–£320 per day (DOE)
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
* Valid CSCS card or SSSTS
* Demonstrable experience in civil engineering site work – preferably water treatment/environmental infrastructure
* Competence with Leica instruments and AutoCAD
* Strong organisational and communication skills
