Job Title: Graduate Engineer
Location: Aviemore
Working Hours: Mon – Thu compressed working week. 38 hours (9.5 hours per day). Core hours are 8am – 4pm with the remaining hours worked between 6am – 6pm.

Key Responsibilities
Hydrasun is recruiting for a Graduate Engineer, based within its Precision Manufacturing Division (PMD) in Aviemore. The Graduate Engineer role is designed to develop a skilled and knowledgeable engineer capable of fulfilling a range of responsibilities within Hydrasun. The final role may be adapted to suit individual aptitude, capability and organisational need. The successful candidate will spend time across several departments within PMD, gaining broad technical exposure and developing core engineering competencies. As progression milestones are achieved, the role will evolve into an Engineering position within the Aviemore Engineering Team, supporting Engineering Design activities and providing timely responses to engineering and manufacturing queries.
Skills or Qualifications Required
Essential
* Degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical Bias)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
* Ability to work in a Team
* Good communication skills
* Keen to develop personal knowledge and skills.
Desirable
* BEng Honours Degree
* Some previous/current work experience. Lead/Contribute on an academic/practical project
* Knowledge of Materials
* Good Organisational Skills
* Exposure to Manual or CNC machine setting, operating or programming.
* CAD/CAM exposure.
