Contract Scotland is working in partnership with a well-established and respected Glasgow-based fit-out and refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in joinery.
Our client delivers high-quality projects across a range of sectors including retail, commercial, and leisure. Due to sustained growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now looking to bring a hands-on Site Supervisor into their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved on-site; you'll be expected to work on the tools when required.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Day-to-day supervision of fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Ensuring health & safety compliance and promoting best practices on-site.
- Undertaking joinery tasks when necessary to support project delivery.
- Providing updates to Project Managers and reporting progress.
- Ensuring quality control and snagging of completed works.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be a joiner to trade.
- Have proven experience in commercial or retail fit-out and refurbishment.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and hands-on approach.
