* Deliver world-class innovative medical education and training with the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia at the Bunbury site.
* Part-time, up to (0.3 FTE) appointments on a fixed term basis for one year.
* Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 – $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
* Clinical loading and remote allowances applicable.
About the Role
Organise and teach RCSWA students, support preceptors and host practitioners, and implement learning opportunities through collaboration with local agencies.
* Engage in research or evaluation to improve rural health, and pursue growth in academic areas such as clinical skills or services based on personal interests.
* Develop local educational programs and rural training pathways in consultation with medical practitioners, contributing to both local and statewide RCSWA strategies.
* Contribute to curriculum development, assessment marking and provide student mentoring.
Requirements
* Registered, or able to be registered with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
* Work in the respective RCSWA site and the ability to network with rural practitioners in the region.
* Demonstrated experience as a preceptor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors or registrars.
* Demonstrated commitment to the principles and practice of Indigenous health in rural and regional areas.
* Practice medicine in rural WA.
