The Role
* Design components and products, supporting ongoing product development and innovation
* Create detailed 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and bills of materials for production
* Implement engineering design changes and product modifications as required
* Generate, maintain and validate technical documentation and product data
* Manage and update product parameters within the ERP system
* Conduct testing and validation
* Support the creation of sales and promotional technical materials
* Produce and maintain production-related documentation
* Respond to and resolve customer technical enquiries
* Contribute to continuous improvement of design and engineering processes
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards
* Work in line with company quality policy, KPIs and regulatory/statutory requirements
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
The Person
* Proficient in 3D CAD modelling for components and assemblies (ideally SolidWorks)
* Strong ability to produce accurate and detailed manufacturing drawings
* Good understanding of machining and fabrication processes
* Effective communicator, both written and verbal, able to engage with internal teams and customers
* Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices
Located in Lincolnshire, this role would be commutable from Lincoln, Gratham, Newark-on-Trent, Nottingham and other surrounding areas.
