Overview
Walker Cole International is searching for a Demand Planner to join a rapidly growing pharmaceutical organisation. In this role, you will develop accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability, helping the business meet patient needs while minimizing supply risks.
Responsibilities
* Forecasting & Analysis - Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using statistical models, historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activity to improve forecast accuracy.
* S&OP Collaboration - Participate in monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to formalise forecasts and align supply with business priorities.
* Supply & Risk Management - Identify supply gaps, forecast risks, and opportunities within the portfolio, working with Supply Leads to mitigate potential disruptions.
* KPI Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Analyse forecast errors, assess impact, perform recalculations, and implement continuous improvement techniques to enhance forecast performance and inventory optimisation.
* Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills to support informed decision-making and optimise information flow.
Candidate Profile
* 2+ years' experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
* Familiarity with S&OP processes and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
