We are hiring a Wellbeing Clinical Leadership Fellow at Frimley Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post involves two days per week in the fellowship role and one day per week enrolled in a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership and Commissioning. You will be part of the BSMS Leadership and Education Fellowship Programme, a bespoke development programme sponsored by KSS Deanery. This is a 0.6 WTE post jointly funded by Health Education England working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex (HEE KSS) as part of the Multi‑Professional Fellow Programme which aims to bring benefits to the healthcare system in KSS in relation to priority areas including differential attainment, technology‑enhanced learning (TEL) and leadership development. The post holder will be part of our Simulation Service and will carry out one or more projects to develop and implement simulation education, improvement and intervention that promotes inclusive, culturally appropriate simulation education and offers equality and diversity to a workforce with multiple layers, including neurodiversity. The role will foster a culture of inclusion of protected groups and aim to reduce existing inequalities in training experience and access to simulation opportunities. The project is explicitly designed to address inequalities in medical education.

Responsibilities
* Lead, coordinate and participate in relevant meetings related to the project(s) and other agreed elements of the role.
* Embrace EDI into daily simulation, making a difference, increasing awareness and fostering a culture of sustainability.
* Design simulations to foster cultural humility, enhance healthcare quality and promote health equity in clinical practice.
* Measure candidate commentary, confidence, awareness, attitude and self‑realisation around the topics addressed.
* Roll out a program and awareness campaign.
* Develop processes and procedures to embed within the simulation design, delivery and debrief structures.
* Build local champions to drive these changes and learning forward, with deeper inclusion.
* Embed inclusive simulation principles into Trust simulation SOPs, and train simulation faculty and educators as EDI champions, incorporating neurodiversity awareness into induction and faculty development.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, administrative staff and university faculty, to integrate EDI initiatives into the hospital's culture.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of EDI projects, providing regular updates and feedback to stakeholders.
* Participate in leadership and professional development activities, sharing insights and learning from the EDI stream.
* Attend BSMS, regional and national educational and other relevant meetings and liaise with the BSMS Programme Team and the local office of Health Education England as required.
