ARB Planning Limited is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, identify new market opportunities, and cultivate strong client relationships. This role plays a key part in expanding the company’s footprint in the International Healthcare as well as planning & development consultancy sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across international teams to support long-term success.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, and services.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through effective communication and engagement.
* Develop and implement business development strategies to support company growth objectives.
* Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and client presentations with a strong commercial focus.
* Collaborate with technical and project teams to align client needs with company capabilities.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve.
* Represent the company at networking events, industry forums, and client meetings.
* Experience in Scaling up staffing operations for new markets/clients.
* Maintain and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and conversion strategies.
* Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management on business development activities.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in planning, consultancy, or Healthcare or construction-related sectors.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and grow client portfolios.
* Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing client expectations.
* Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
* Understanding of the UK ,European and US talent markets.
* Experience working in professional services or consultancy firms.
* A relevant degree in business, marketing, planning, or related fields.
