Description
The Finance Operations Lead will be responsible for the following;
* Oversee and manage all financial operations and processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Oversee month end processes and prepare consolidated management accounts.
* Support in the preparation of statutory accounts preparation.
* Complete cashflow forecasting.
* Manage bank arrangements, supplier payments and ensuring complete and compliant financial records are kept.
* Streamline financial workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on key financial matters and audits.
* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across all platforms.
* Mentor and guide team members within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Finance Operations Lead should have:
* A strong background in Accounting & Finance, experience in the Not for Profit sector is essential.
* Professional qualifications in accountancy or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance management.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to lead and manage teams effectively to achieve operational goals.
* Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to the role.
