Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is working with a privately owned manufacturer to recruit for a permanent SENIOR ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT.
Ideally, we are looking for an immediate start for this role.
Salary: £30,000 to £33,000
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Requirements:
* Experience in SAGE and XERO
* ACA/ACCA/CTA/CIMA part-qualification or working towards
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Ownership of Sales ledger
* Supplier management and payments
* General reporting as required
* Bank reconciliations
* Knowledge of stock control
* Dealing with financial queries
* Budget and cash flow monitoring/forecasting
* Weekly debtors, creditors, and cash flow forecasting
* Preparation of monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheets
* Financial report management
* Quarterly VAT return preparation and review
* Year-end preparation
* Payroll data collation
* Liaising with pension providers and updating pension records, including auto-enrolment and online reporting to HMRC
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
* Experience with accounting systems and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Sage, or Xero
Furthermore, the candidate should be working towards or have completed ACA/ACCA/CTA/CIMA qualifications, with previous experience supporting a Financial Controller, and be able to start ASAP.
