Base Location: Stonehouse
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days per week)
Working Pattern:
* Wednesday: 9am - 12:30pm
* Thursday & Friday: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £37,000 prorated

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. Your collaborative approach will be key in promoting meaningful supervision of placements.
This role is demanding yet rewarding, encompassing quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents. Strong report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.
Requirements
* Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
* Previous experience in children and families social work
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services
* Good IT skills
* Flexibility in working patterns and travel
Your Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for high-level supervision
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, enabling and monitoring foster parents' practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with costs covered by Fosterplus.
