About Our Client
Michael Page are working with an established international professional & business services organisation in Bradford, who are looking for a brand new Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This position will be supporting the 'transactional' end to end finance function with key duties such as the ledger, payment runs, invoices and bank reconciliations etc. Salaried up to £28,000 per annum, this role offers hybrid home working, AAT study support and company training.
Job Description
As Purchase Ledger Clerk reporting into the Financial Controller and Finance Manager, you will be successfully responsible for a variety of duties that range from monitoring the ledger, processing expenses & invoices, supporting with payment runs and contributing towards the bank reconciliations for example.
Working individually and as part of a team, this will contribute towards the accounts payable finance function.
The Successful Applicant
* Open to anyone qualified by experience or studying AAT
* Ideally current or previous experience of the following; Ledger, Expenses, Payment Runs, Invoices, Bank Reconciliations etc.
* Comfortable with finance software
* Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement
* Happy to work individually and as a larger team
* Brief understanding of basic Microsoft Excel
* Key eye for detail
