ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider who's end client is in the Manufacturing sector. We are assisting them with the search for a IT Support Engineer on a contract basis. This is a contract that is inside IR35 and is based on-site every day in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on IT support for implementation activities. Set up and configure barcode printers, RF scanners, and related hardware. Assist SMEs and Power Users in preparing hardware and software for go-live readiness. Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues on-site. Collaborate with the central project team to ensure consistent setup and deployment practices. Key Skills: Background in system administration and IT infrastructure support. Experience with hardware configuration, including scanners and printers. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Willingness to learn and adapt to new software (SAP and others - training provided).
