The Opportunity
We are currently seeking motivated and driven lawyers on a junior level to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are eager to grow their careers, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a close knit and successful legal practice.
What You'll Do
Your role will vary depending on experience level, but key responsibilities include:
* Drafting pleadings and court documents
* Managing a diverse caseload from end to end
* Attending mediations, pre-hearing conferences, and court appearances
* Engaging with clients, insurers, and third parties
* Briefing counsel and conducting legal research
* Ensuring CPD compliance and contributing to firm-wide learning
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must be admitted to practice in Victoria. While experience in motor vehicle property damage and litigation is highly valued, we welcome applicants from various litigation backgrounds. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication – both written and verbal
* A proactive and collaborative approach to work
* Confidence in managing files independently and as part of a team
* The ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
* Solid tech skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Leap experience is a plus)
