About Faculty of Advocates:\nThe Scottish Bar is one of Scotlandâs most ancient and prestigious institutions with a membership of about 460 practising Advocates. Most advocates are supported in their professional practices by Practice Managers/Advocatesâ Clerks employed by Faculty Services Limited.\n\nFaculty of Advocates are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their team based in Edinburgh to help their Training and Education Department.\n\nSalary: £13,741 - £18,200 per annum (depending on age).\n\nWorking week: Monday to Friday, 9am â 5pm.\n\nBenefits: \nâ¢\t30 days annual leave\nâ¢\t6 days public holiday\nâ¢\tHealth Insurance â Vitality\nâ¢\tPension Scheme â Royal London (9% Employer Contribution)\nâ¢\tCritical Illness\nâ¢\tIncome Protection\nâ¢\tLife Assurance\nâ¢\tFlexitime\nâ¢\tEmployee Assistance Programme\n\nFuture prospects:\n90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.\n â¢\tAdminister and take responsibility for incoming mail and document processing, including postal mail, fee processing batches, and invoices\nâ¢\tCombine, split or rearranging of digital papers for Advocates\nâ¢\tDistribution of Advocates' incoming and outgoing mail with accuracy\nâ¢\tArranging courier services for Advocates and Clerks\nâ¢\tProvide additional secretarial support to clerks within the Stables\nâ¢\tCover reception duties in the Advocates Clerks' office\nâ¢\tMonitoring of Criminal Justice Secure Email and distribution of court minutes to Clerks\nâ¢\tMaintain printer hardware within Clerking area and report issues to Xerox/service desk when appropriate\n What do you need to succeed?\nAn interest in administration.\n\nImportant information:\nThis vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.
